The thing that gets me is I don’t feel like I can do anything to help. I can’t just get on a plane and go help. I’m willing to donate money, but will that really help right now?
If anyone in the affected area needs a place to stay, I have a couch in San Francisco….
I definately think cash helps — they need a ton of supplies and the like for medical work, potable water, etc. I’m giving to MSF — http://www.msf.org/ — right now, but the red cross is also good.
